Radiu5 Digital Conference

I went along to the Radiu5 Digital Conference recently. When I arrived at the studio I found our very own Catherine Maguire was there too, as a volunteer for Radiu5. After everyone had settled in Substrakt, I began to take people away to interview; Nadia, Pav and Mark. It was a bonus that the office building was quite enough for recording the interviews, since the last set of events I and the team have attended there has always been loud background noise. Although I got three interviews and footage of the event itself, I wish I could have captured more, but I can say that I am satisfied with the interviews and footage. I can’t wait to get start on finishing the long video edit with Mike. Bring on the awards!

Catherines blog

Since I last wrote on here we’ve been keeping ourselves very busy. We’ve been to Sheffield doc fest which was great fun and gave us lots inspiration towards our own films. We had a great editing session from Chris Roberts.  I really enjoyed that and editing is definitely something I’m particularly interested in and would like to explore more.  There is so much to learn but I guess that will come with practice.  We’ve still got the 4th film about ourselves to work on but we’ve now got most of the footage that we need for the other three projects and so we can start editing .  So I’m really looking forward to seeing the completed films.
